We now stand at a pivotal moment in human history.
Never before has anyone been where we now stand.
On the one hand we now have the ability to feed, clothe and shelter every person alive on the planet, to provide everyone with a primary education and basic health care, and to completely restructure our global economy to provide the world with clean renewable energy. Doing these things will restore our environment, provide jobs to the unemployed and create a safer world.
On the other hand, if we continue down the path we are now traveling, we face the prospect of our entire civilization collapsing due to global climate change, increased world hunger, falling water tables, and the end of cheap energy.
We are now faced with the greatest challenge ever to confront the human race.
If we succeed we can save the planet, if we can't we will face extinction.
We can either choose to save the whole world, or to lose it all.
The only question is what will we do?
