New numbers reported by CNN state that 100,000 have been killed in Burma. The aid situation is not looking good either. Both the government of Burma and the U.S. government are not making it any easier.
The government of Myanmar does not want to let outsiders from the west into their country and Bush says that he wants to send in U.S. Navy ships. Maybe we should delver our food supplies to Thailand and let the Burma government pick them up there.
With 1 million people homeless and the country's rice crop wiped out, leading to critical food shortages, this is no time to further the Bush Doctrine.
